About these terms
These terms apply when you use collectmychristmastree.co.uk to find a Christmas tree collector. By using the website you agree to them.
What we do
CollectMyChristmasTree helps you find independent Christmas tree collectors who cover your area, and lets you contact them or send them a collection request.
Collectors are independent businesses. Any collection you arrange, including the price, date and payment, is agreed between you and the collector, and the collector is responsible for carrying it out. We are not a party to that agreement.
Listings
- Collectors write their own listings, including prices, dates and areas. We check listings before they go live but cannot guarantee every detail is accurate or up to date.
- Please confirm the price and date with your collector before your collection.
- The order collectors appear in can depend on the plan they have chosen.
Collection requests
When you send a request through the website, we pass the details you give us (such as your name, address and tree sizes) to the collector you chose so they can arrange your collection. A request is not confirmed until the collector confirms it with you.
Problems with a collection
Please contact your collector first. If you can't resolve it, email us and we'll look into it. We may remove collectors who don't meet our standards.
Acceptable use
Don't send false, abusive or spam requests, scrape the website, or try to interfere with how it works.
Our liability
We provide the website “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the services collectors provide or for any loss arising from them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
